HIGHLIGHTS

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE led by 10 points with eight-plus minutes to go in the game and had the crowd silenced inside the R. John Buuck Field House before Concordia Wisconsin responded with a momentous 14-4 scoring run to tie the game at 68-68 with two minutes and 36 seconds to play. The Raiders and Falcons traded buckets before the end of regulation.
- Senior Olalekan George (Milwaukee, Wis.) then erupted the crowd into hysteria after throwing down a thunderous dunk down the baseline and received the foul. He converted the free throw for the old-fashioned three-point play 14 seconds into overtime. On the ensuing possession, junior Jordan Johnson (Cedarburg, Wis.) then drained a highlight-reel step-back 3-pointer at the top of the key giving the Falcons a 75-70 lead with four minutes and 10 seconds to play.
- The game was then later sealed with 3.4 seconds to play when Johnson calmly swished a pair of free throws to seal the victory.
- Concordia Wisconsin captured its second NACC Tournament Championship.
- Johnson led the Falcons with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting, to go along with five rebounds and five assists. Junior Joey Zietlow (Oak Creek, Wis.) had 15 points and three steals, while George had 13 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
- Sophomore Brandon Keller (Plymouth, Wis.) posted 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Jared Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) tallied 15 points, five rebounds and four assists. The Falcons had 50 points in the paint.
- MSOE was led by Michael Pitroff who had 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting. Matthew Kirmse ended with 10 points and nine rebounds.
