HOW IT HAPPENED
- A late Jared Jurss 3-pointer, followed by a Jordan Johnson layup gave the Falcons the five points they needed to send the game into overtime. Throughout the game, they needed several defensive stops and ensuing conversions on the offensive end to get the victory, which was saved for overtime. The extra period had a lot of offense, which featured a 9-0 scoring run over the final seconds by Concordia Wisconsin.
- With the game tied at 79-79, Brandon Keller converted an old-fashioned three-point play after getting fouled on a layup attempt. The next possession down had Johnson making a pair of free throws. After a rejection on the defensive end by Keller, senior Olalekan George made a pair of free throws before sealing the victory with a reverse dunk to send the crowd into a frenzy.
- In the overtime, the Falcons made 6-of-8 shots and 7-of-7 free throws, with six points being scored by Jurss. The sophomore from Sheboygan, Wisconsin had a team-high 22 points, to go along with seven rebounds and six assists. It was his fourth 20-plus point scoring game of the season.
