CHICAGO, Ill. – The CUW ACHA hockey team traveled to Roosevelt to take on the 1-11-0 Lakers in a home and home weekend on Friday.

The Falcons had no regard for the Lakers putting up seven goals in the first period alone. The matchup saw two Falcon hat-tricks and numerous Falcon point scorers.

The first period saw a goal in the fourth minute from junior Scott Gregor (Ashland, Wis.) with an assist from sophomore Steven Delikat (Oak Creek, Wis.). It only took 34 seconds for the Falcons to get tired of the 1-0 lead when they netted their second of the contest off the stick of junior Liam Butler (Oak Lawn, Ill.) with a helper from sophomore Nick Roberts (Milwaukee, Wis.).

The scoring didn't end there obviously. Junior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) netted the third Falcon goal off the stick of junior Connor Doyle (Naples, Fla.) in the fifth minute. The Falcons weren't Happy netting what would be the game-winning goal at 6:04 in the first from junior Easton Williams (Racine, Wis.) off the stick of Connor Doyle giving him his second assist.

Steven Delikat decided why not add another with his second goal that came in the 11th minute off the stick of sophomore Dylan Tschabold (Solothurn, Switzerland) as well as Liam Butler.
