ACHA Sweeps the Series Against Lake Superior State

MEQUON, Wis. – The ACHA hockey team completed its weekend sweep of the Lakers of Lake Superior State on Saturday with a 3-1 victory.

The Falcons took the lead early and never looked back netting two goals in the first period. 

Junior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) struck first in the seventh minute scoring off a helper by junior Easton Williams (Racine, Wis.). 

The Falcons' winning goal came in the 18th minute of the first period off the stick of sophomore Nick Roberts (Milwaukee, Wis.).  Roberts would get assists from freshman Tommy Cassle (Grafton, Wis.) and senior Ethan Natzke (Ballwin, Mo.).

Easton Williams' night wasn't over as he would go on to score an unassisted goal in the 19th minute of the third period.  Williams would lead the team with two total points on the night.

Junior Mack Willy (Tacoma, Wash.) improved to 2-0-0 on the young season with 30 saves.

The Falcons continue their five-game home stretch the 24th of September as they take on Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
