Volleyball earns AVCA Team Academic Award
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Volleyball program was honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with the Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 season. The Falcons had a 3.63 team grade point average.
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade point average on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.
CUW had a 3.63 team gpa during the 2016-17 academic year and 23 student-athletes were honored by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference as a Scholar-Athlete for their achievements in the classroom.
