Moegenburg earns NACC Player of the Week honors
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Kaily Moegenburg had an outstanding pair of matches during the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament last week and as a result has been named NACC Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday night.
Moegenburg (Plymouth, Wis.) totaled 32 kills over a pair of NACC Tournament wins for the Falcons, sending them to their first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament appearance. In the 3-1 win in the final over Aurora, Moegenburg totaled 18 kills and 12 digs, while also finishing with five blocks. The junior outside hitter also posted a 14-kill, eight-dig and five-block performance in the 3-0 semifinal win over Edgewood, while hitting .448 in the match.
The NACC weekly accolade is the second of the season and the second of her career.
