DE PERE, Wis. – The Green Knights of St. Norbert defended their home turf on Wednesday night. The Green and Gold collected a 1-0 victory to send the Falcons to 3-4-2 on the season and 2-2-1 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
The Green Knights struck first on Wednesday on a breakaway in the 36th minute.
The Falcons peppered the St. Norbert net in the second half with quality opportunities from senior Selena Esten (Cedarburg, Wis.), junior Isabella Rapp (Grafton, Wis.) and sophomore Brei Rozmiarak (West De Pere, Wis.), but were unable to find the back of the net.
Junior Brooke Braga (Belgium, Wis.) netted six saves on Wednesday night.
The Green Knights held a 10-7 advantage in shots on Wednesday. Selena Esten led the flock with three shots.
The Falcons look to bounce back on Saturday night in Chicago at Illinois Tech.
