Reiter named IWLCA All-Great Lakes Second Team

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Sammi Reiter was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region Second Team, the organization announced on Monday.

The junior midfielder previously earned Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors after leading the Falcons to a record setting season. The Stillwater, Minn., native set three game records, six season records and holds six career records.

She paced the Falcons with 89 points, 70 goals, 16 free-position goals and 100 shots on goal. Reiter also set career highs with 88 ground balls, 68 draw control wins and 25 caused turnovers. On three occasions this season, she scored the game-winning goal.

Reiter finished the 2014 campaign with five or more points seven times and three or more goals 12 times. She helped lead CUW to a record 12 victories, including eight in MWLC play. As a program, the Falcons set six game records and 14 season records.
