Women's Hockey Lands 11 NCHA All-Academic Selections

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its All-Academic Teams on Thursday afternoon. The Concordia Wisconsin women's hockey team landed 11 selections.

To qualify for the NCHA All-Academic Team, players must be sophomores, juniors or seniors and carry an overall grade-point average of at least 3.30. In total, 19 women's representatives are earning the academic distinction for the third time in their careers, reaching the standard maximum.

Senior Emily Reimche of Billings, Montana, is claiming the honor for the unprecedented fourth time in her career.

The senior duo of Colleen Gilligan (Colborne, Ont.) and Annalina Van Hercke (Castle Rock, Colo.) are receiving the honor for the third time in their careers.

The Falcons had eight student-athletes claim the honor for the first time in their career with sophomore Lilly Casher (Grayslake, Ill.), senior Ali Eiden (Rosemount, Minn.) junior Natalia Etter (Boveresse, Switzerland), sophomore Brooke Gibson (LaSalle, Ont.), sophomore Erika Graham (Brighton, Mich.), sophomore Natalie Mackrell (Stuttgart, Germany), sophomore Kami McCardle (Jackson, Wis.) and sophomore Cheree Peters (Vernon, B.C.).
