Amanda Bauer Named NCHA Offensive Player of the Week
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its weekly Player of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon. Amanda Bauer claimed the NCHA Offensive Player of the Week in Women's Hockey.
The sophomore from Waunakee, Wisconsin, Amanda Bauer is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.
Last weekend, she opened the weekend with the first hat trick of her collegiate career with three goals against the Vikings. She followed that up on Saturday with two more assists.
Hannah Turnage of Lake Forest was named the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week.
Bauer and the Falcons are back in action on Tuesday night at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
