Make the Rink Pink scheduled for Women's Hockey series

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin's women's hockey program is asking fans to support breast cancer research and awareness, and its senior class this weekend during a home series against No. 10 Adrian College. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the Ozaukee Ice Center and support the Falcons in their last home series of the season.

CUW is scheduled to play the Bulldogs on Friday at 7 p.m. before competing on Saturday at 2 p.m.

"I Believe, Where There's A Will There's A Way For A Cure" pink t-shirts will be available for purchase and a raffle will be held (Friday into Saturday), with the proceeds going to Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition.

During Saturday's first intermission, the team will honor two seniors – Sara Cole and Carly Piras – for their four years of dedication and commitment to the program.

The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Coalition is a statewide organization that is recognized as the premier resource on breast cancer policy issues. WBCC members are "knocking the door down" to be involved in the eradication of breast cancer.
