MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's basketball team fell to Edgewood on Tuesday night, 69-45. The loss sends CUW to 8-4 on the season and 5-3 in NACC play.
With the game tied at two, Edgewood broke the game open with an 11-0 run.
The Falcons cut the deficit to five points at one point, but Edgewood went into halftime leading, 34-21.
The Blue and White held their own and scored 19 points in the third quarter, led by senior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) with nine points.
CUW was held to five points in the fourth quarter on Tuesday.
Emily Hafemann led CUW with 13 points, while senior Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) finished with 10 points.
The Falcons close out the regular season this weekend against MSOE.
