Seifert hits way to NACC Baseball weekly award

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Junior Brandon Seifert has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Position Player Baseball Student-Athlete of the Week for games of April 21-27, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Seifert (Germantown, Wis.) drove in 10 runs and scored 11 times in a 7-0 week for the Falcons (18-14, 10-8 NACC). The junior third basemen batted .429 and recorded a hit in all seven games. He drove in three runs in two games and had four multi-hit games. Seifert also stole four bases in helping CUW extend its winning streak to 12 games.

Seifert and the Falcons were rained out on Monday but are scheduled to play Carthage College in a home-and-home series over the next two days. CUW will visit Carthage Tuesday before hosting them on Wednesday at Kapco Park.
