ELKHORN, Wis. – The CUW women's tennis team fell to 1-2 on the young season with a 6-3 loss to Carroll on Sunday.
The Falcons lone doubles point came from the No. 3 doubles team of freshman Mallory Moen (Neenah, Wis.) and junior Jennifer Mies (Brookfield, Wis.) at 8-6.
Freshman Ashley Samuta (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) took care of business at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
Junior Elizabeth Johnson (Hubertus, Wis.) won the final point of the day at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
The Falcons look to bounce back against Carthage on Friday afternoon.
