LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The CUW women's soccer team finished non-conference play on Tuesday afternoon at Lake Forest. The Falcons edged the Foresters with a 1-0 victory to improve to 13-3-0.
The lone goal of the match came in the 38th minute from junior Selena Esten (Cedarburg, Wis.) off an assist from junior Jordan Lafferty (Surprise, Ariz.).
The Falcons outshot the Foresters on Tuesday, 16-10.
Freshman Sheridan Dorge (Winnipeg, Man.) and Selena Esten both led the match with four shots.
Senior Kaeley Sterkel (Dana Point, Calif.) had seven saves in her seventh shutout of the season.
The Falcons close the regular season on Wednesday at Lakeland. The Falcons can win at least a share of the NACC title with a victory.
