Men's Hockey Lands 13 NCHA All-Academic Selections

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Associations (NCHA) announced its 2023-24 All-Academic Teams on Friday morning.

The league finished with a record 247 student-athletes claiming the honors. The previous record was 242 in the 2021-22 season.

To qualify for the NCHA All-Academic Team, players must be sophomores, juniors or seniors and carry an overall grade-point average of at least 3.30.

The Concordia Wisconsin men's hockey team finished with 13 selections.

Senior Liam McGarva (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta) is claiming the honor for the second time.

Senior Nick Bowlin (Maplewood, Minn.), Sophomore Bryar Dittmer (Chatham, Ontario), sophomore Amraj Gill (Surrey, British Columbia), sophomore Preston Hazelton (Lake Orion, Mich.), sophomore Derek Humphreys (Spokane, Wash.), sophomore Collin Kerchoff (White Lake, Mich.), sophomore Grant Newcomer (McFarland, Wis.), sophomore Ben Pizzimenti (Iowa City, Iowa), sophomore Noah Roitman (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.), sophomore Gabe Rosek (East Lansing, Mich.), sophomore Dain Sardelli (Hebron, N.D.) and sophomore Jason Tenezaca (Niles, Ill.) are all claiming the honor for the first time.
