Gabe Rosek Named an NCHA Star of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its stars of the week for men's hockey on Tuesday morning. Gabe Rosek was named as one of the stars of the week for his performance at Wisconsin-Superior.

A sophomore goaltender from East Lansing, Michigan, Gabe Rosek is claiming his first weekly honor of his career.

Rosek battled for 62 minutes in the net at Superior. He posted a .927 save percentage and 38 saves.

He kept the Falcons afloat late in regulation when he saved a penalty shot.

Drew Welsch and Matteo Ybarra of Trine were voted as the other two stars.

Rosek and the Falcons will travel to Michigan this weekend and face No. 3 Adrian on Friday and Saturday.
