Alex Ochitwa Named an NCHA Star of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) released its Three Stars of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. Alex Ochitwa was named one of the three stars for his performance in New York.

A freshman forward from Prince George, British Columbia, Alex Ochitwa is claiming his first weekly honor of his career.

Ochitwa was one of three Falcons named to the Oswego State Holiday Classic All-Tournament Team, joined by sophomore goaltender Gabe Rosek (East Lansing, Mich.) and freshman forward Riley Klugerman (Aurora, Ont.).

He scored a goal and four assists at Oswego State, receiving votes in the USCHO weekly rankings.

Ochitwa was joined by Marian goaltender Aaron Brunn and Lake Forest forward Chase Freiermuth as the other three stars.

The Falcons return to action on Friday against Lake Forest.
