Men’s Hockey earns 10 NCHA All-Academic selections

MEQUON, Wis. - The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association announced its All-Academic selections on Thursday morning. The Concordia Wisconsin men's hockey team landed 10 selections for the second-straight year.  

"We are extremely proud of the effort our guys put into academics," said head coach Jasen Wise. "We strive to be leaders in the classroom and on the ice. These 10 men are excelling in both. They are great examples for others to follow." 

In order to qualify for All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must be of at least sophomore status academically and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher. 

The senior duo of Josh Adkins (Victoria, B.C.) and Jake Switzer (Swansea, Ill.) earned the honor for the third-straight season. The two Falcons are two of 24 student-athletes to claim the honor on the men's side. 

Making an appearance on the NCHA All-Academic Team for a second time is senior Andrej Buchko (Peoria, Ill.), junior Dakota Delbridge (Tracy, Calif.) and junior Nick Guiney (Victoria, B.C.). 

Making their first appearance on the team is sophomore Bryce Fisk (Brown Deer, Wis.), junior Nick Guerra (Victoria, B.C.), sophomore Brandon MacKinnon (Etobicoke, Ont.), junior Cole Pickup (Victoria, B.C.) and sophomore Erik Schuette (Olathe, Kan.).
