Green Knights ground Falcons

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. – The CUW men's hockey team's three-game unbeaten streak came to an end on Friday night at St. Norbert. The Falcons fell, 7-1, to move to 5-3-1 on the year and to 2-2-1 in the NCHA.

The Green Knights struck first on the power play five minutes into the first period.

Trailing 0-2, junior Braydon Barker (Red Deer, Alta.) scored the lone CUW goal of the evening, with sophomore Luc Kreuser (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) adding the assist.

SNC closed the period with two goals.

St. Norbert added three more goals in the third period.

Sophomore Bo Didur (West Vancouver, B.C.) posted 27 saves in the start. Junior Dakota Delbridge (Tracy, Calif.) added 13 saves in relief.

St. Norbert held a 47-19 advantage in shots on Friday.

The two teams will meet again on Saturday night at the Ozaukee Ice Center.
