Women's Track & Field Posts Successful Day at Ripon

RIPON, Wis. - Three CUW women's track and field athletes headed north on Saturday to compete at the Rippn NCAA Final Qualifier & Multi.

Senior Sabrina Moore (Park Ridge, Ill.) competed in the 60-meter dash and finished with a time of 8.14 seconds in the preliminary round to qualify for finals.

In the finals, Moore crossed the finish line at a time of 8.18 seconds, securing second overall in the event.

In the 200-meter dash, Jenna Zahorik (Reedsville, Wis.) took first overall with a time of 26.56 seconds.

Freshman Emma Eilertson (Mukwonago, Wis.) leaped a height of 1.65 meters in the high jump on her final attempt of the day.

CUW and the women's track and field team will resume competition at the Warrior Invite on March 28th.
