NCHA Women's Standings

MEQUON, Wis. - With an outside chance of making the NCHA O'Brien Cup Playoffs, the Concordia University Wisconsin women's hockey team will travel to face University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point this weekend, where they'll play their final two games of the regular season.

The Falcons and Pointers will face off at 7:00 pm on Friday night at Ice Hawks Arena, before meeting again at 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoon.

CUW (7-13-3, 5-11-2 NCHA) currently trails UW-Eau Claire by three points for the eighth and final spot in the conference tournament, and will have to win both games against Stevens Point to earn a bid.

Eau Claire hosts Finlandia University twice this weekend and only needs one point from those two games, as they own the head-to-head tiebreaker against CUW.

The Falcons head into the regular season's final weekend after going 0-1-1 at home against St. Scholastica last weekend.

In those two games, senior Bradi Jonasson (Bloomington, Minn.) scored two goals while junior Sara Cole (Plymouth, Minn.) and sophomore Maxine Blohowiak (Green Bay, Wis.) had two assists each.

UW-Stevens Point (10-11-2, 9-8-1 NCHA) split a pair of overtime games at Lake Forest College last weekend, winning 2-1 on Saturday before falling 4-3 on Sunday.

The Pointers are led by senior forward Erin Marvin, who has scored a team-high 10 goals to go with 13 assists.
