Women’s Hockey travels to Tomahawk, Wis. to face Bethel on Saturday

MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin women's hockey team will take on Bethel University (Minn.) at a neutral site on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Tomahawk, Wis. to face off with the Royals at 2 p.m.

Live play-by-play along with live stats will be available, pending facility conditions.

CUW (5-4-0, 4-3-0 NCHA) is looking to get back in the win column after a 1-0 defeat to Lake Forest College on Tuesday night equaled their second loss in as many games.

The Falcons got superb goaltending from freshman Kaitlyn Evans (Fairbanks, Alaska) on Tuesday, but CUW was shut out for the first time all season by Forester goalie Jenna Brankin.

Head coach Jim Ingman and the Falcons also want to go into the holiday break on a high note, as Saturday's tilt will be their last game for almost a month; they won't play again until January 6.

Bethel (4-3-2, 3-3-0 MIAC) comes into the game on a three-game win streak, after sweeping a home-and-home series with Hamline University (Minn.) last weekend.

The Royals have five players who are in double digits in points this season, including two-way defenseman Anna Carlson, who leads the team with 12 assists.
