Women’s Hockey ready for rematch with Marian

MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin women's hockey team will be looking to win their third-consecutive game tonight, as they travel to Fond du Lac, Wis. to take on conference foe Marian University at 7 p.m.

Unable to make it to the game, you can listen to Tom Rodgers play-by-play radio call by clicking here. Also, there will be Twitter and Facebook updates.

Just over two weeks ago, the Falcons and Sabres faced each other at the Ozaukee Ice Center in CUW's season opener, with senior Alyssa Isaackson (Marshall, Minn.) scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to secure a 5-4 win for Concordia.

Since then, the Falcons (4-2-0, 2-1-0 NCHA) have won three of five games, including two straight victories over the weekend against Finlandia University.

The Sabres (0-6-0, 0-5-0 NCHA) come into Wednesday's game still in search of their first win of the season, after losing both games of a home-and-home series with Lake Forest College last weekend.

Isaackson has had the hot hand for the Falcons as of late, being named NCHA Player of the Week on Tuesday after tallying three goals and two assists in three games last week.

Freshman forward Amanda Waigand has been the Sabres' main offensive threat, scoring seven goals to lead Marian thus far.

Tonight's game will take place at the Blue Line Family Ice Center.
