Gina Followell Claims NACC Honors Once Again
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for softball on Tuesday morning. Gina Followell was once again named the NACC North Division Pitcher of the Week.
For the fourth-straight week, Gina Followell has claimed the honor.
A junior from Romeoville, Illinois, Gina Followell picked up a pair of victories over Lakeland to help the Falcons win the NACC North Division title outright.
During the week, she collected 31 strikeouts and became the school record holder for strikeouts in a single season.
This is the fifth time in her career that she has claimed the title.
Followell and the Falcons compete in the NACC Tournament on Thursday evening against Lakeland.
