Gina Followell Repeats as NACC North Pitcher of the Week
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for softball on Tuesday afternoon. The NACC announced Gina Followell as its NACC North Division Pitcher of the Week.
A junior from Romeoville, Illinois, Gina Followell is claiming the title for the third-straight week and for the fourth time in her career.
On Sunday, Followell picked up her ninth victory of the season as she shut down the NACC's leading offense.
She held the 17th-ranked Raiders to only one hit and struck out 11 batters.
Followell and the Falcons return to action on Friday at Lakeland.
