Men’s Soccer Advanced to the NACC Tournament

MEQUON, Wis. – For the seventh-straight season, the CUW men's soccer finished with a winning record of 9-8-1. The Blue and White also went 7-4-1 in the NACC.

The Falcons closed the regular season with three-straight victories at Fitting Field, including a 5-0 victory over Lakeland on Senior Day.

CUW had four players named to All-NACC teams. Senior Jacob Stemper (Hartland, Wis.) was named to the All-NACC First Team, while junior Ivan Cuellar (Milwaukee, Wis.), junior Miguel Garcia (Batavia, Ill.) and senior Tyler Salvador (Lindenhurst, Ill.) were all voted onto the All-NACC Second Team.

The Blue and White had Jacob Stemper, Ivan Cuellar and Miguel Garcia were also named to the USC  All-Wisconsin State Team.

CUW also claimed two NACC weekly honors in 2021 when junior Mattson Wick (New Berlin, Wis.) was named the NACC Defensive Player of the Week and Tyler Salvador was the Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 26.

Junior Nick Hummel led the flock with 23 points with nine goals and five assists.

The Falcons are poised for a strong 2022 season.
