Baseball Picked to Contend for NACC Title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its preseason poll on Thursday afternoon. The Falcons are projected to finish in third place with 263 points.

The reigning NACC champions of Aurora are projected to defend their title with 24 first-place votes and 336 points. The Spartans are ranked sixth in the Collegiate Baseball preseason national poll and eighth by D3baseball.com.

The Eagles of Benedictine are picked second with two first-place votes and 312 points.

The Falcons advanced to the NACC Tournament finals in 2021 and won the NACC North Division Tournament with victories over MSOE and Marian. CUW finished the year at 25-17.

The Blue and White heated up and went 11-3 before the NACC Championship Series.

CUW opens the season on Feb. 27 against Carroll and starts NACC play on April 1 against Edgewood.
