HOW IT HAPPENED
- A familiar face struck first for the Bulldogs Saturday as former Falcon Nick Erb scored 5:01 into play. Erb, who skated for CUW the past two seasons, had one of two first-period goals for Adrian, the other coming off the stick of Bryan Yim.

- The Falcons got the first of their two power play goals early in the second stanza to cut the Adrian lead to 2-1. Dante Hahn (Victoria, British Columbia) tallied his team-leading ninth goal of the season off an assist from senior captain Jared Pilet (Seattle, Wash.).

- The Bulldogs responded to the Falcons first score 1:06 later as Ryan Cusin made the score 3-1. Adrian would add another second-period goal 2:30 later to put the Falcons in a three-goal deficit. The lead would grow to 5-1 8:08 into the third period as Dino Balsamo netted a power play goal for the Bulldogs.

- CUW added a second power play score at the 12:53 mark of the final stanza. Taylor Gauld (Whitby, Ontario) had the deflection score with Nick Guerra (Victoria, British Columbia) and Braydon Barker (Red Deer, Alberta) picking up assists. The Falcons finished the game 2-for-4 on the power play while Adrian was 1-for-8.

- Nick Malvin (Ham Lake, Minn.) finished the contest with 38 saves, recording double-digit saves in every period. Kevin Entmaa stopped 26 shots for the Bulldogs.
