Rink Notes: Falcons host Thunder, Bulldogs this weekend

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Hockey team begins a stretch of eight straight games against NCHA South Division foes this weekend with a pair of home contests. The Falcons will welcome first-year program Trine to the Ozaukee Ice Center Friday night before battling No. 3 Adrian Saturday.

THE BASICS
- Who: Trine (4-11-2, 0-8-2 NCHA)/Adrian (13-4, 9-1 NCHA) at CUW (10-5-2, 6-4 NCHA)
- When: Friday, January 19 – 7 p.m. / Saturday, January 20 – 4 p.m.
- Where: Ozaukee Ice Center – Mequon, Wisconsin

DIGITAL GAME PROGRAMS

RINK NOTES
- CUW enters the weekend tied for second in the NCHA South Division with 12 points. The Falcons are tied with Lake Forest, both teams trailing division leader Adrian by six points.

- The Falcons have tallied five shorthanded goals this season, which is tied for the most nationally. Adam Fauchoux is one of 17 players who has scored two shorthanded goals this season.

- CUW has never defeated Adrian in 36 all-time meetings and the Falcons have never faced Trine, a first-year program. The Bulldogs, who lead the NCHA South Division, are currently ranked third nationally.

- Braydon Barker has not only been one of the top freshmen in the country this season, but also a top defenseman. Barker ranks 17th nationally in points per game among defensemen and is tied for 16th in points per game among freshmen.
