Spencer Herman Named to AVCA All-West Region Team
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its third annual NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Regional awards on Tuesday morning. Spencer Herman was announced as a member of the AVCA All-West Region Team.
A sophomore opposite hitter from Appleton, Wisconsin, Spencer Herman is the first CUW men's volleyball player to earn AVCA regional honors.
Herman ranks fifth nationally in kills per set at 4.35 and in attacks per set at 9.83. He also ranks 10th in points per set at 4.84.
He finished the year with a program record of 357 kills, 183 digs, 41 blocks, 19 service aces and nine assists.
Earlier this month, he was named to the All-NACC First Team. The Wisconsin native was a three-time NACC Offensive Player of the Week selection and claimed the AVCA National Player of the Week title on Jan. 25.
