Spencer Herman Earns NVA/AVCA All-American Honorable Mention Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its All-American Team on Tuesday morning. Spencer Herman was named to the NVA/AVCA All-American Honorable Mention.

A sophomore from Appleton, Wisconsin, Spencer Herman is the first CUW men's volleyball player to earn All-American status.

Herman ranks fifth nationally in kills per set at 4.35 and in attacks per set at 9.83. He also ranks 10th in points per set at 4.84.

The Wisconsin native finished the 2022 campaign with a program record of 357 kills, 183 digs, 41 blocks, 19 service aces and nine assists.

Earlier this month, he was named to the AVCA All-West Region Team and the All-NACC First Team. He was also a three-time NACC Offensive Player of the Week selection and claimed the AVCA National Player of the Week title on Jan. 25.
