
Falcon Duo Claims NACC Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its all-conference teams on Thursday morning. Both sophomore Spencer Herman (Appleton, Wis.) and senior James Althoff (Kenosha, Wis.) were named to the All-NACC First Team.
This is their second year in a row as a duo.
Althoff has claimed NACC honors every year of his four-year career and this is Herman's second time in his two seasons.
Althoff ended the season with the second-most kills per set for the Falcons with 3.16 kills per set as well as 3.9 points per set. He led the team with 0.52 service aces per set. Althoff finished the season with some of the highest numbers in his career with 250 total kills, .240 hitting percentage, 41 total service aces, and 307.0 total points. He finished fifth in the NACC in kills per set, and third in the NACC in service aces per set.
Herman dominated the NACC for the second year in a row with a first-place finish on 4.35 kills per set as well as 4.8 points per set, a second-place finish in total kills with 357 and 397.0 total points, a sixth-place finish in hitting percentage at .319, and an 11th-place finish in digs per set with 2.23. Herman claimed NACC Offensive Player of the Week honors on three occasions during the season as well as AVCA National Player of the Week honors in January. Herman led the Falcons in most statistical categories with first-place finishes in kills per set with 4.35, points per set with 4.8, and total points with 397.0.
