Spencer Herman Named NACC Offensive Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday morning for men's volleyball. Spencer Herman was once again voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week as voted on by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A sophomore from Appleton, Wisconsin, Spencer Herman is claiming the honor for the third time this season and the fourth time in his career.

Herman averaged 5.08 kills per set as Concordia Wisconsin went 2-1 last week to secure the No. 6 seed in the NACC Tournament. He opened the week with 33 kills and 18 digs in a loss to Marian, setting a new CUW match record and NACC four-set mark for kills. Herman posted another double-double (12 kills, 16 digs) in a four-set win at St. Norbert, and narrowly missed a third with 21 kills and nine digs in a five-set win over Benedictine.

Chase Olson of Benedictine was the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Herman and the Falcons will fight in the NACC Tournament on Tuesday night at Aurora.
