Men’s Volleyball competes at Greenville

GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville scored the first eight points of the match and never looked back on Saturday afternoon during a 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-12) non-conference victory over Concordia Wisconsin.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers scored the match's first eight points (four kills and two service aces) to gain the momentum they needed. After giving up three-consecutive points to the Falcons they added four more to hold a 12-3 midway through the first set.
- Concordia Wisconsin had a stretch of six unanswered points late in the second frame after capitalizing on errors by Greenville and a service ace by Will Driver.
- Freshmen Sam Rovik (Silver Lake, Wis.), Isaac Glynn (Byron, Minn.) and Driver all had five kills. Freshman Matthew Korman (Roscoe, Ill.) assisted on 18 points.
- Driver and freshman Jeremy Theis (Port Washington, Wis.) each dug a team-high eight attack attempts. Glynn and freshman Blake Schwandt (Kenosha, Wis.) each recorded three block assists.

THE OPPOSITION
- Kyle Ward led all players with eight kills, while George Black and Nick Corrigan tallied seven and six kills, respectively. Tanner Smith had 30 assists, four service aces and six digs.
- Logan Dameris had 14 digs.
