NEWSWORTHY NOTES
• DIFFICULT OPPONENTS: Saturday's match will mark the fourth nationally ranked opponent the Falcons have faced thus far in the season.
• DEFENSIVE BALANCE: There hasn't been one Falcon who has been the defensive stopper this season, but instead it has been a collective effort to get the job done. There are six players on the roster with 30-plus digs and Jeremy Theis leads the way with 55 followed by Isaac Glynn who has 52 digs.
• SCOUTING BENEDICTINE: The Eagles entering the NACC matchup ranked 10th nationally and in the top half of the league standings. On Thursday night MSOE snapped a four-match winning streak in a five-setter. Benedictine is strong defensively, leading the conference in digs per set (11.5) and solo blocks (39). Markus Riemer is the team-leader with 122 digs, while Kyle VanStedum has 12 solo blocks and 41 total this season.
