FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The CUW men's ice hockey team fell short in the regular-season finale on Saturday evening. The Falcons fell 0-3 and finish NCHA play with a record of 6-2-0.
The Sabres scored a goal in each of the three periods.
Marian held a 46-27 shooting advantage on Saturday night.
Freshman Liam McGarva (Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.) recorded 43 saves against the Black and Blue.
The Falcons will host either St. Scholastica or Lawrence on Wednesday night in the NCHA Tournament semifinals. The result of tonight's game tonight between Lawrence and Finlandia will solidify the final two spots in the tournament.
