Men’s Hockey overwhelms Aurora with an overtime victory

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW power play was hitting on all cylinders on Saturday with a perfect five-for-five performance to secure a 6-5 overtime to improve to 6-10-0 on the year and send Aurora to 4-2-0.

The Falcons were the first to score, setting the pace for the game. The goal would come from senior Nick Guerra (Victoria, B.C.), assisted by senior Braydon Barker (Red Deer, Alta.) and junior Cory Dennis (Madison, Wis.).

The first period would conclude with the Falcons up 1-0.

In the second period, the Blue and White would come out hot with a goal in the second minute. The goal was finished by senior Nick Guiney (Victoria, B.C.), with the assists from Guerra and Barker.
