Liam McGarva named NCHA Defensive Player of the Week
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) named Liam McGarva the Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
A freshman from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, McGarva is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.
The CUW freshman secured his first collegiate victory on Saturday night against Marian.
On Saturday night, he secured 43 saves in the victory against the Sabres.
McGarva and the Falcons return to action on Friday for a two-game series against St. Scholastica.
