MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW field hockey team finished the 2021 season on Saturday in the SAA Tournament. The Lynx of Rhodes College walked away with a 6-0 victory.
The Lynx started the day with two goals in the first quarter.
The visitors from Tennessee added three more goals in the second quarter and one more in the third period.
The Lynx led the day with 36 shots compared to 10 for Concordia.
Junior Lorri Pitock (Naperville, Ill.) led the flock with three shots.
Junior Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) finished the day with 15 saves.
Junior Olivia Riemer (Ballwin, Mo.) recorded a defensive save.
With the victory, Rhodes advances to the SAA Tournament Finals and will face the winner of Centre and Sewanee.
The Falcons finish the season with a record of 7-11.
