Susquehanna Tops Field Hockey

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Falcons fell short in a non-conference contest on Sunday morning at Susquehanna. The River Hawks walked away with a 5-0 victory to improve to 14-3 and send the Falcons to 7-8 on the year.

Susquehanna secured a goal in all four quarters on Sunday morning, scoring twice in the fourth quarter.

Junior Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) posted 14 saves on Sunday.

The Falcons posted four defensive saves. Junior AnnaLyssia Abela (Dearborn, Mich.) had two and sophomore Abby McGue (St. Louis, Mo.) and junior Olivia Riemer (Ballwin, Mo.) had one defensive save.

The Blue and White look to bounce back on Saturday in an SAA contest at Rhodes.
