Falcons Double Up Lake Superior State

 SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Falcons won the second leg of the three-game road trip on Friday night at Lake Superior State. The Falcons sank the Lakers, 6-3, to improve to 2-2-0 on the young season.

The Lakers struck first with the first two goals of the evening.

A sharp-angled shot from senior Easton Williams (Racine, Wis.). Senior Dominic Falcone (Elgin, Ill.) and senior Rex Staudacher (Yorkville, Ill.) added the assists.

Senior Steven Delikat (Oak Creek, Wis.) camped out in front of the net and tapped in a pass from senior John Switak (Rochester, N.Y.) to tie the game at two. Junior Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) had the secondary assist

Senior Ian Malcolmson (Waukesha, Wis.) found Garrett Wilderman in front of the net off a secondary assist to junior Tommy Cassel (Grafton, Wis.).

Ian Malcolmson had a top-shelf blast in the first minute of the third period off assists from Rex Staudacher and Wilderman

Freshman Chuck Emme (Glenview, Ill.) shook off a defender and held Garrett Wilderman open in front of the net to score again with a secondary assist to Ian Malcolmson.

Chuck Emme scored the sixth goal off a pass from Ian Malcolmson.

Senior Vincent Falcone (Elgin, Ill.) earned the victory in the net

The Falcons close the road trip on Saturday at Lake Superior State.
