Volleyball earns AVCA team academic award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Concordia University Wisconsin's Volleyball program has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award distinction, as announced by the organization.

The Falcons are one of 140 NCAA Division III women's volleyball teams to earn the honor, which goes to teams that have displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

CUW finished the 2015 season with an 18-12 overall record and a 9-2 record in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
