Women’s Track & Field closes 2019 season

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's track & field team closed the 2019 chapter of its story in May. The Falcons competed in 17 meets on the season.

During the indoor season, the Falcons competed in nine meets.  The Falcons finished in fourth place at the NACC Championships with 68 points.

At the NACC Championships, senior Jennifer Miller (Freedom, Wis.) was the NACC champion at the pole vault at 3.43 meters.

The highest indoor finish came at the Wis.-Oshkosh Titan Early Bird Invitational in third place.

Three indoor school records fell in 2019, senior Irene Bolis broke the record in the 55-meter hurdles at 8.70 and the 60-meter hurdles at 9.59. Megan Curran also broke the weight throw record at 16.33 meters.

The outdoor season saw the Falcons competed in eight outdoor meets.

Irene Bolis broke the school record for the 100-meter hurdles at 15.98. The team of Jennifer Miller, Megan Sprinkman, Ndeye Thiam and Irene Bolis broke the school record in the 4x100 relay at 49.83.
