Women’s Track & Field competes at Benedictine Relays

LISLE, Ill. – The CUW Women's Track & Field team competed at the Benedictine Relays on Friday and Saturday. The Falcons finished in 17th place out of 26 competing teams with 21.5 points.

In the Discus Throw, Chloe Eckstein (Reedsville, Wis.) had a fourth-place finish at 38.27 meters.

Megan Curran (Spring Grove, Ill.) was sixth in the Shot Put at 12.26 meters. The sophomore also had a 12th place finish in the Hammer Throw at 38.79 meters.

Christine Swoboda (Chippewa Falls, Wis.) took sixth in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 30.30 meters.

In the Triple Jump, Nicole Veldhorst (Cedar Grove, Wis.) placed 8th at 10.47 meters.

Irene Bolis (Marengo, Ill.) had a 10th place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles at 16.23.

Jordyn Schmidt (Manitowoc, Wis.) was 10th in the High Jump at 1.50 meters.

In the 400 Meter Hurdles, Sophia Fonte (Greendale, Wis.) was 10th at 1:26.25

Megan Sprinkman (Kohler, Wis.) led the Falcons with a 17th place finish in the 100 Meter Dash at 13.23. The sophomore also had a 17th place finish in the 200 Meter Dash at 27.18.
