Women’s Track & Field competes at Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The CUW women's track & field team competed at the Wisconsin Whitewater Drake Alternative on Friday.

Senior Irene Bolis (Marengo, Ill.) was the individual champion in the 100-meter hurdles at 15.68. She also placed eighth in the 100-meter dash at 19.95 and 11th in the long jump at 4.36 meters.

Sophomore Alden Goucher (Port Charlotte, Fla.) was fourth in the triple jump at 10.45 meters.                                                                                                                          

Sophomore Megan Sprinkman (Kohler, Wis.) clocked in at 27.59 in the 200-meter dash to finish in sixth place.

Sophomore Megan Curran (Spring Grove, Ill.) finished in seventh place in the discus throw at 36.16 meters and in the shot put at 11.60 meters. She was also 10th in the hammer throw at 39.17 meters.

Freshman Hannah Secor (Marengo, Wis.) secured a 13th-place finish in the 800-meter run at 2:40.25.

Senior Chloe Eckstein (Reedsville, Wis.) was 15th at javelin at 25.78 meters.

The Falcons return to action on Friday at the NACC Championships.
