MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons were buzzing today on the courts against Wisconsin-Superior. The 8-1 victory propels CUW to 11-3 on the season.
The Falcons brought out the brooms in doubles play to start the day.
Senior Mia Andrae (Cedarburg, Wis.) and junior Mallory Moen (Neenah, Wis.) won 8-1 on court two.
At No. 1 doubles, senior Ricki Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.) and junior Ashley Samuta (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) secured an 8-1 victory.
Sophomore Peyton Morgan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) and sophomore Mya Werning (Watertown, Wis.) wrapped up Wisconsin-Superior at No. 3 doubles, 8-4.
Ashley Samuta swatted Marina Dostal down at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Ricki Budewitz beat up Andreina Tejada at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Mallory Moen blasted Courtney Brandt at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
Mia Andrae bounced Brooke Wilfong at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-3.
At No. 5 singles, Peyton Morgan made quick work of Haley Quick with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
The Falcons return to action in South Carolina for spring break play.
