Katelyn Cardinale Collects NACC Weekly Honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week awards on Wednesday morning for women's lacrosse. Katelyn Cardinale was voted the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for Offense by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A sophomore from Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Katelyn Cardinale is claiming the honor for the second time this season and for the third time in her career.

At Marian, she had six goals and two ground balls in the 13-2 victory.

She then had six goals, four draw controls, one caused turnover and a ground ball.

Maya DeGeorge of Beloit was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Cardinale and the Falcons close the season on Saturday against Illinois Tech.
