SAVANNAH, Ga. – Concordia Wisconsin women's lacrosse dropped to the No. 2 SCAD Bees on Tuesday afternoon, falling by a 22-1 margin. The NAIA scholarship-receiving Bees notched their third win of the season in the outing
Sophomore Katelyn Cardinale (Mount Laurel, N.J.) recorded the lone goal for the Falcons in the contest, picking up her fourth goal of the season after potting three scores in the team's season opener. She also led Concordia in shot attempts, sending five balls towards the net.
The Bees deposited nine goals in the opening frame before the Falcons' defense held them to just three in the second, while Cardinale also tallied her goal in the quarter. SCAD found an additional ten goals in the second half to grant the 22-1 victory.
In just her second career start, freshman goaltender Parks Cawthray (Oakville, Ontario) stopped 12 shots for the Falcons.
Concordia will search for its first win of the young season on March 8 against the 1-1 Augustana Vikings.
