Women's Lacrosse Selected Second in NACC Preseason Poll

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll on Monday Afternoon. The Falcons are projected to finish in second place in the 2024 season and be a contender for the NACC title.

Concordia Wisconsin received 84 points and one first-place vote from the voting panel, which consists of the head coach and an athletics communications professional from each of the NACC's seven women's lacrosse institutions.

The defending champion, Aurora Spartans collected 12 of the 14 first-place votes and 95 points to lead the pack.

Edgewood is projected to finish in third place with 63 points and a first-place vote.

The Falcons finished the 2023 season with a 9-8 record and finished in second place in the NACC at 5-1 and advanced to the NACC Tournament Finals.

Concordia opens the NACC season on Saturday, April 6 at Aurora.

The Falcons open the season on March 2 against Northwestern-St. Paul.

The top four teams in the final standings qualify for the 2024 NACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament. Semifinals are scheduled for Tuesday, April 30 with the final to follow on Saturday, May 4. The tournament champion receives the NACC's automatic berth in the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship.
